We are a Christ abiding community. We believe in the power of prayer and make daily efforts to activate the very power of prayer in our lives. Prayer serves as both an offensive and defensive tool in our dealings with the physical and spiritual realms. Here, you can serve as a prayer warrior on behalf of other church family members, our pastoral staff and core leadership teams, local outreach ministries, global missionaries, and our world’s many nations.

Sunday Elder Prayer

Each Sunday we have Elders and their wives ready to pray with you at the end of each service. The Yonkers Road and the Benson Campuses will have Elders at the front of the sanctuary. The North Campus will have Elders in the Prayer Room.

Prayer Warrior Service

Press into God’s presence and step in the gap for your neighbors.  Join us on the third Saturday of each month, 9 AM, at our Yonkers Road Campus where we will gather together as a church for a time of worship, repentance, intercession.  We meet for prayer the third Saturday of every BUILD month (this excludes rest months: April, August, December).

FRIDAY UPPER ROOM PRAYER

Join us Friday nights at 7pm at our North Raleigh Campus. If you are in need of prayer or have the desire to intercede for others, we would love to have you join us each week.

Pro-Life Prayer Walk

As believers we understand that the abortion is really a spiritual war.  We must fight this war in prayer! Consequently, Cross Assembly has partnered with LoveLife ministries and multiple other churches as we pray and share God’s love for the women, men and unborn children at the abortion clinic in Raleigh.  We also pray asking God to remove the blinders on the clinic workers.  In 2025, Cross Assembly is sponsoring prayer walks with LoveLife on March 8th, August 9th, and November 8th. We encourage you to participate as often as possible.

Monday Morning Prayer

We use this as an opportunity to seek God and pray for the ministry that he has given us. In YTH, we have a saying: "It isn't service until there is sacrifice." This means that in ministry there will be a sacrifice of time, energy, preferences, self, and much more. This is why we join together in God's presence at 6:30 am every Monday, putting that ministerial sacrifice into practice and we want you to join us! Come soak in the presence of the Lord alongside our Cross Assembly YTH community at our Yonkers Road campus (located in the YTH sanctuary).

This time of prayer is open to everyone so plan to join us.
