Global Missions:Honduras
Thank you for expressing interest in a short-term mission trip with Cross Assembly.
Please consider the following information.
If you are then interested in joining the team, select “Continue“ at the bottom of the page to start the three-step process.
Prayerfully consider joining Cross Assembly’s first mission team to Honduras. This team will be led by Daniel and Natalie Price and will be hosted by Assembly of God World Missionaries Jenni and Kelly Conrady and Cross Assembly’s “homegrown” missionary, Angie Grande. The team will serve in La Ceiba on the northern coast, an area that is 67% Catholic. In that area, Catholicism has been synchronized with tribal religions such as voodoo and animism. Honduras has the second highest rate of femicide in Latin America and one third of the school-aged children do not attend school.
The team’s purpose will be twofold: Part of the team will serve in children’s ministry and evangelism outreach, and other team members will work on a construction project at the local church. This church hosts a feeding center and program that is overseen by Angie Grande. They are out of space and need Sunday school rooms built for the children. Currently the children gather under an open air roof, which is difficult in the rain.
If you feel called to join this team, consider the FAQs below and choose “Continue to Step 2” below.

The dates of this trip are June 9-16, 2025. When making plans, please allow one or two days before and after the trip until airfare is secured.
What is the cost of the trip, and what is included?
The trip costs $2500 and includes airfare, ground transportation, food, accommodations, international emergency/medical insurance, and all activities. The cost does NOT include passport fees, immunization costs, food at the airport, and personal purchases for or on the trip. You will have the option to take an online security course for $30. That cost is not included in the trip.

The overall cost MAY be reduced depending upon airfare. The team leader will communicate any adjustments with team members after airfare is purchased.

Yes, an end-of-year contribution receipt will be provided from Cross Assembly.
Are contributions refundable?
If you are unable to travel after monies have been paid, please consult the team leader and missions director. Many expenses are pre-paid and nonrecoverable by Cross Assembly and will not be refunded or credited back to you.
How can contributions be made?
Online contributions are encouraged. Team members will be given a trip-specific link that they can use and share with others who want to contribute to their trip.
If writing a check, checks should be made payable to Cross Assembly. Per IRS regulations, team member names should NOT be written on the memo line. If at all possible, please include a payment coupon (given to team members at the first team meeting) with all check payments. Checks and cash may also be placed in a Cross Assembly giving envelope with the team member’s name and trip indicated.
Will I need a passport?
YES! Your passport must be valid for at least six months after the trip’s return date. A color copy of your passport must be submitted to your team leader or the missions director. Complete passport information can be found travel.state.gov
If you need to apply for or renew your passport, please consult the trip leader and begin that process as soon as possible.
Are extra immunizations needed for the trip?
Overall, please consult the CDC website and your physician and make a vaccination decision with which you are comfortable.
For more lesser-known vaccinations, you have options such as Passport Health, Rx Urgent Care, and Wake County Human Services. A quick Google search may also give other options. Please note that many vaccinations are not covered by standard health insurance coverage, so please research your insurance coverage, cost, and various providers so you’re not caught off-guard.

Some members of this team will also be involved in long days of construction. Please note the team will serve an hour and a half away from a hospital. If you have specific questions regarding the physical demands of this trip, please consult the team leaders, Natalie and Daniel Price, at [email protected].
