Footsteps of Paul with Cross Assembly
April 13th, 2026 - April 22nd, 2026

Join us for a life-changing trip to ancient sites of the missionary journeys of the Apostle Paul. Visiting biblical lands is far more significant than a vacation; it is an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of God's Word. This trip will be our second journey to Greece and Turkey, and we are looking forward to returning with members of our church family.
Experience the historical roots of our faith and early church as we follow the footsteps of Paul. Visit the Greek cities where Paul and early church leaders walked and planted churches, stand on the shores of the Island of Patmos and visit the grotto where John received the book of Revelation, sing by the prison where Paul and Silas praised the Lord at the midnight hour, and fellowship with other believers as you explore Athens, Thessaloniki, Corinth, Philippi, Crete, Ephesus, and more. The Bible truly comes alive in Greece and Turkey, and after the trip the Word of God will be more vivid to you than ever before.
We will enjoy some amazing moments of teaching, worship and prayer throughout our time together. Join us for the spiritual journey of a lifetime!
Grace and peace to you,
Pastor Chad and Darla Harvey

What are the physical demands of this trip?
Please remember all international travel is physically demanding, and this group is active every day of the trip. This trip is moderately challenging as the flights are long and in-country activities include much walking each day. Additionally travelers can expect to encounter stairs, steep inclines/declines, cobblestone roads, uneven terrain, and narrow hiking paths.
Are vaccines required to enter Greece and Turkey?
No, vaccines are not required to enter Greece and Turkey. Please consult your physician and the CDC website recommendations to make a personal decision about vaccines.
Can I join the trip if I have mobility limitations?
Please consider the physical demands of the trip before registering (see above question). In most cases group members have the option to stay behind on the bus or to rest along the way; however, they may miss out on trip experiences or have reduced time to enjoy sites so the entire group can stay on schedule.
Can minors join the tour group?
Cross Assembly has had children join tour groups on a case-by-case basis. Given the nature of the tour, we encourage all travelers to consider the physical demands of the trip (see above) before registering. Many travelers, including children, are heavily affected by jet lag. In most cases, passengers have the option to stay behind on the bus or to rest along the way, but they may miss out on trip experiences or have less time to enjoy sites so as to stay on schedule. Please be mindful that travel is with a group, so out of respect of others who have joined the tour, please do not register children who will interfere with the whole group’s experience in Greece and Turkey. Please email the group hosts at [email protected] with questions or for special consideration.
Do I need a passport?
YES! A passport that is valid for six months AFTER the group’s return is required for the trip. If you need to apply for or renew your passport, please begin that process as soon as possible.
How many people will be part of our group?
Forty airline seats have been held, and up to 50 passengers can be accommodated as long as airline is available.
Do I need travel insurance?
While not required, travel health and cancellation insurance is HIGHLY recommended. Imagine Tours recommends Travel Guard. Please keep in mind that insurance typically has to be purchased within a certain number of days after registering so as to include any pre-existing conditions. For this reason, it is recommended that insurance is purchased sooner rather than later.
What is the dress code?
Generally speaking, dress comfortably. Since the trip includes extensive walking and sightseeing every day, dress in layers to stay comfortable. Make sure to bring a good pair of closed-toe walking shoes that are already broken-in. Some “holy sites” require men to cover their head (any hat is fine) and everyone to cover their shoulders and knees. Please pack modest swimwear for the ship’s pool (weather permitting). Further details will be discussed with registrants at a trip orientation.
